Greeting Smoke Rise Family!
On November 9th our school will have the opportunity to host some wonderful local Veterans. Thanks to The Stone Mountain Womens club, who organized this prestigious visit!
We are planning for about a dozen Veterans to visit our school. Every class will have a guest speaker discuss their training, experiences and the awesome food offered in the mess halls!
Smoke Rise students will enjoy hearing about the armed forces, seeing the Veterans uniforms and viewing their amazing artifacts. Our students are going to be elated to have the opportunity to learn about history from these remarkable men and women!
